AC Milan want to see the back of Andre Silva, report Gazzetta dello Sport, and once again Wolves are the only club named.
The Jorge Mendes connection is explained and Gazzetta seem to believe that the super-agent can perform some magic and make Silva disappear from Milan, exhanging him for a sackful of money.
It’s stated the young striker ‘could go to Wolves’ but that seems more through assumption and hope than anything else, as it always has. The Mendes connection started the Andre Silva to Wolves rumours and it’s been a good enough reason to keep them going.
Silva came through at FC Porto just after Ruben Neves, and with the midfielder kickstarting his career so superbly at Wolves, there’s also that angle for Silva.
It would be no surprise if Mendes gives a call to his long time pal Nuno Espirito Santo and tries to tempt the English club, but it would have to be a good deal given Silva’s disappointing year in Italy.
Other than that, Wolves seem to be being thrown as the only option because there’s no actual interest from elsewhere at this stage.
