Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Everton are in the ‘background’ to take Aaron Ramsey, but the Juventus player’s ‘priority’ is to return to Arsenal this summer.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who state it’ll ‘almost certainly be a divorce’ between the 30-year-old and the Serie A side.
Ramsey left the Gunners as a free agent and joined the Turin club in 2019, but has struggled with form and fitness in the past two seasons.
The Old Lady are looking to ‘restore order’ in their squad by offloading players who have had a ‘negative impact on their balance sheet’, and the midfielder is one.
Juventus are aware they cannot demand a high transfer fee for the Wales international, taking into account his age, injury history and performances in the last two years.
Ramsey, for his part, has a ‘priority’ to join the north London club and Mikel Arteta’s side ‘would gladly take him back’, provided he returns to the Emirates on a free transfer.
Whether or not this is acceptable for Juventus, who are hoping to monetise Ramsey’s exit, isn’t mentioned in Calciomercato’s report.
