Douglas Costa’s possible transfer to Manchester United in the next summer continues to be pushed by the Italian media.
This Friday, newspaper Tuttosport brings a short story about the Brazilian star, who could be the ‘first’ to leave Juventus once the season is over.
The player hasn’t been impressing at the Old Lady, and besides his performances, the club haven’t been very happy with his behaviour either.
That’s why when the transfer window comes, his good market status will be useful so Juve can make some cash with the sale. This seems to be the growing plan.
But it’s not only money that the Italian side are thinking of. Any business with Manchester United will bring back the idea of signing Paul Pogba.
So the Serie A side hope Douglas Costa can improve his form and make him a more valuable asset in case of a swap for the World Cup winner in the summer.
Tuttosport also adds that if joining Manchester United, Douglas Costa could be a teammate of Nikola Milenkovic.
They don’t have any details on the race for the Fiorentina defender, and only say Ed Woodward is a fan.
