Denis Zakaria moved to Chelsea on deadline day of the summer transfer window, with Juventus making him available in the market.

Given the Turin club were willing to see the back of him, the option of a move to the Blues was a dream one for the 25-year-old and presented a big opportunity at the highest level.

Initially moving on a loan deal, Chelsea secured an option to sign the midfielder permanently next summer, however, Zakaria’s dream is right now in nightmare status.

He hasn’t appeared for Chelsea since the move, and his only minutes this season come from two Serie A appearances for Juventus.

Il Bianconero say the player is now facing a ‘crisis’ situation at Chelsea, and he’s having a hard time just like others who left the Turin club in the summer. Arthur Melo, who moved to Liverpool on loan, and Matthijs de Ligt, who signed for Bayern Munich, have also faced difficulties.

As far as Il Bianconero are concerned, this is one of the ‘most critical’ moments of Zakaria’s career. There’s plenty of time left to turn things around and make a success of the loan, although things aren’t looking great right now.
