Bayer Leverkusen winger Demaria Gray is ‘likely’ to join Everton and is ‘expected’ to arrive for a medical at the club today.
That’s according to Kicker, who back up reports from England regarding the former Leicester City man today.
Gray has been heavily linked with Everton over the last few days, with reports that they are closing in on a €2m deal for him.
That was backed up by Sky Germany earlier today, who explained that Leverkusen were happy to let the player go due to his high wages, and Everton would be activating a release clause to get him.
Kicker now add their own bit, stating that after only joining in January, Gray can leave via a €2m release clause and is ‘likely to join Everton’ as a result.
They go one step further, though, and add that he is ‘expected to present himself’ at Everton ‘as early as today’ ahead of the move.
That is something that has been reported in England, and now the German stance is very much the same, indicating that this transfer is pretty close to being a done deal.
