Earlier today, we covered an update on the situation regarding Wolverhampton Wanderers and their attempts to sign Mario Lemina.
The Gabon international was targeted by Julen Lopetegui as the option to bolster his midfield at Molineux, which is why Wolves have gone for him.
Mohamed Toubache-Ter in France was the one who explained that Lemina had already said goodbye to his teammates on Thursday morning and that the deal was done.
This has been backed up by L’Equipe, who echo the claim about the midfielder saluting the Nice squad for the last time earlier today.
They then add the player is ‘expected in England in the next few hours’ in order to sign a four and a half year contract with Wolves.
As for Nice in all this, they will receive around €10m for the player, and the money should go towards a new midfielder and a left-back, at the very least.
Lemina has previously played for Southampton and Fulham in England, as well as Juventus in Italy and Marseille in France.
