Earlier today we covered a report from Corriere dello Sport which stated Edin Dzeko has been offered to West Ham by an agent.

It sounded very much like an intermediary learning of David Moyes’ desire for a striker, adding that to Dzeko’s woes at AS Roma, and then trying to build a deal and get the commission.

Dzeko has fallen out with Roma manager Paulo Fonseca and their relationship is thought to be beyond repair. Despite being the Serie A club’s captain, the striker has been left out of the squad to face Spezia today.

Sky Italia also have West Ham and Dzeko claims, although their stance is slightly different from Corriere dello Sport. It’s stated the Hammers, along with Wolves, are keen on the 34-year-old, however, he ‘doesn’t like’ the idea of signing for either club.

Right now he’s got his sights on bigger things. Sky Italia mention previous Juventus interest, although it’s doubtful they’d make a move and match his €7m salary this month.

The agent trying to get Dzeko to West Ham clearly has a big convincing job on his hands, firstly with David Moyes, and then with the player himself.
