Manchester United watched one of their transfer market targets last night, according to reports from the Portuguese press.
Newspaper O Jogo claims a Red Devils official made a visit to Estádio do Dragão only to watch the FC Porto defender Éder Militão.
The Brazilian defender had a good performance in the 3-1 win over Nacional, and was much praised by the local press.
O Jogo says Militão was a ‘wall’ against the away side, ‘almost always well positioned’, making many interceptions and being cheered by the crowd for having energy for a long attacking sprint at the end of the game.
Last week, claims from Portugal have said there’s a clause which would allow Militão to leave for only €42.5m, less than his regular €50m release clause.
Militão has been linked to several clubs in the past couple of months, with the latest claims saying he’s a target for the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool as well.
