Earlier this week, Hakim Ziyech admitted he was ‘disappointed’ with Frank Lampard’s exit from Chelsea at the start of this year.

Thomas Tuchel was appointed as his successor and the attacking midfielder has found it hard to enjoy more playing time under the German.

The 28-year-old has been restricted to only two league starts and has five more in the remaining competitions this season.

According to Bild, the former Ajax star has emerged as a target for Borussia Dortmund in the winter market.

BVB are currently second in the table with 24 points, trailing leaders Bayern Munich by four. Marco Rose’s side want to bring in a winger in January, who can ‘feed crosses’ to Erling Haaland.

Bild say the Morocco international ‘definitely wants to leave’ the Champions League winners in the next window and has been identified as a ‘candidate’ for the Bundesliga side. His contract with Chelsea lasts until 2025 and Dortmund could consider taking the player on loan.

Bild points out Rose and BVB consultant Matthias Sammer will hold talks to discuss January targets after the clash against Hertha Berlin on December 18th.

Ziyech, who ‘definitely wants to leave’ Chelsea is one of the ‘candidates’ for Dortmund. If they are keen on taking him in January, more developments would be expected in the coming weeks.
