Galatasaray attacker Garry Rodrigues has been quizzed by the Turkish media about proposals received for him.
The Cape Verde international has been linked with a move to the Premier League with claims last week Newcastle United are lining up a bid for the player.
Haberturk have reported on comments made by Rodrigues following Galatasaray’s title win at the weekend: “I know there are proposals. We will see together what will happen.”
Last week it was claimed in Turkey that Newcastle United are lining up a bid in the region of €23m for Rodrigues, a similar fee Everton paid for Cenk Tosun in January.
The Magpies have been linked with the 27 year old since last summer when there were reports they’d tabled an offer for the winger, and they again tried to sign Rodrigues in the last window.
Newcastle United have continued to monitor the Galatasaray star in the second half of the season and are expected to make a move for the player now the transfer window is open.
Everton and West Ham have also been linked with Rodrigues.
