Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak has trained with the club today and is ‘completely oblivious’ to the rumours regarding Arsenal.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who say deadline day of the January transfer window has been ‘uneventful’ for the Spanish side.
Isak is reportedly at the top of Arsenal’s wish list as they hunt a new striker before the transfer window slams shut.
Any potential deals are dependent on Pierre Emerick Aubameyang leaving the club, with him currently stuck in limbo regarding a move to Barcelona.
Either way, Arsenal are keen on Isak, and there are even reports they could pay his release clause to get him.
Despite numerous reports this month, Real Sociedad have always insisted the striker’s release clause would have to be paid, and it seems Arsenal are not close to doing so.
Mundo report that Isak trained at Zubieta in their first training session of the week and is ‘completely oblivious’ to the rumours coming from England regarding Arsenal.
According to them, the last day of the market has been ‘uneventful’ for La Real, and there is no indication that is going to change before the deadline.
