Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, simply known as Bono, is ‘closely followed’ by Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
That’s according to Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, who state the Morocco international’s displays for his national team at the World Cup has not gone unnoticed.
The 31-year-old has conceded one goal from three matches as the Atlas Lions made it to the quarter-final in Qatar.
With Wolves and Aston Villa keeping close tabs on the custodian, the Andalusian club have ‘made a decision’ on the possible sale of Bono in January.
Having invested €4m to buy him, the La Liga side need at least €30m to sell Bono as this would allow them to make a large capital gain.
AS on Thursday explains the Premier League clubs have been knocking on Bono’s door for a while, but don’t mention details of those clubs.
They newspaper states Bono has a €50m release clause, but Vamos Mi Sevilla FC insist a fee of at least €30m is sufficient for Wolves, Aston Villa or another club to take him away from Sevilla.
