Chelsea’s first offer for Barcelona striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang will be ‘in the region of €19m plus €5m in variables’.
That’s according to Relevo, relayed by Sport, who say the Gabon forward will also ‘double his current salary’ at Stamford Bridge.
According to their information the agreement between Barcelona and Chelsea is ‘closer than ever’ and the first formal offer from the Blues will be around €19m plus €5m in bonuses.
That is set to be sent to Barcelona’s offices ‘imminently’ so they can move forward with the negotiations to bring Aubameyang back to London.
The same outlet reports that the striker has already reached a ‘private agreement’ with Chelsea in which personal terms have been ironed out.
In terms of salary, Chelsea have offered to him an increase of almost double to what he is currently earning at the Nou Camp.
Because of this, Aubameyang is believed to be ‘very close’ to finalising his transfer and moving back to the capital six months after leaving Arsenal on a free transfer in the January transfer window.
