Yet another talent breaking through at Lille in France, Leny Yoro is unlikely to be at his club next season, with the likes of Manchester United and others interested in his services.

That’s according to RMC Sport, who have an article on the 17-year-old’s future, which comes just after the player changed agents to be represented by Jorge Mendes.

While that used to be a boost for Manchester United, it may favour other clubs, such as Paris Saint-Germain, more, as the French club are led on the transfer market by close ally of the super-agent Luis Campos.

The Ligue 1 club are said to have reopened their attempts to sign Yoro this winter, as they were ready to exceed their €20m budget for a centre-back to get him, but the bar placed by Lille is to high to attain this month.

The northern club are even trying to sign their starlet to a new contract, but the expectation is he will want to leave and will keep his current deal, which lasts until 2025.

While Manchester United aren’t explicitly named in the article by RMC Sport, they are by their journalist Fabrice Hawkins, who claims the Red Devils have ‘asked for information’ about the young player’s situation.

They are joined by Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in having done so, meaning the centre-back is likely to be swimming in great offers sooner rather than later, and will ‘liven up the transfer market’ in the coming weeks and months.
