Credit to Tuttosport, every day now they’re coming up with new ways to say Matteo Darmian to Juventus is nearly done.
On Sunday, they explained the deal has a 90% chance of going through, and then on Monday it was reported ‘signatures can come soon’ on the Manchester United transfer.
Tuesday sees them say Darmian ‘awaits a call’ to tell him the deal is sorted out.
The Italian fullback’s situation has a got a little boring, but Tuttosport add something else which will be of interest to United fans.
It’s claimed Juventus have been looking to add another fullback as well, and an ‘attempt’ has been made for Joao Cancelo. The Portuguese right back (yes, the same as Darmian) has been on loan at Inter Milan.
Super Deporte report this week that Inter must use their buying clause, of a little over €35m, before the end of the month… or lose it.
Anyway, Juve’s attempt hasn’t gone anywhere, because it’s stated Cancelo is ‘close’ to Manchester United.
The Premier League club have been linked to 23 year old Cancelo recently, but there hasn’t seemed anything especially concrete.
