Francis Amuzu made 35 appearances in all competitions for Anderlecht last season and has played in various positions including midfield, and left and right wing.
The 19-year-old’s performance has attracted interest from clubs in the Premier League and Bundesliga, according to Het Laatste Nieuws.
It’s claimed that Brighton & Hove Albion and Southampton are the two clubs in England who ‘think’ about the teenager.
Amuzu’s contract with the Jupiler Pro League side expires in 2020 and Anderlecht’s desire is to retain the versatile player beyond his current deal.
The talks over a new deal have been dragging on for months and the Belgium U21 international’s camp believe Anderlecht’s intention to retain Amuzu is not reflected in the offer they proposed.
With Graham Potter’s side and the Saints following Amuzu, Anderlecht may be forced to sell the player if he decides against signing a new deal at the club, in order to avoid the risk of losing him for nothing next summer.
