Afriyie Acquah has been linked with Birmingham City repeatedly over the past couple of weeks or so, but the midfielder remains with Torino.
Things are moving forward according to Turin sport newspaper Tuttosport, who on Monday explain Acquah has now agreed his own terms to join Birmingham in the Championship.
With that side of a transfer agreed, there’s just remains the transfer fee… quite important.
Tuttosport say Torino are asking Birmingham City to part with €10m to sign the 25 year old.
They may be able to get that figure down, because Tuttosport say Torino’s plan is ‘goodbye’ to Acquah and hello to Bologna’s Godfred Donsah.
Torino and Bologna are in talks, and whilst an initial move for Donsah could be a loan, a redemption fee would be around €5m.
Torino are keen to see Acquah go, so they can bring Donsah in, which should play into the hands of Birmingham and their negotiators.
