Huesca striker Sandro Ramirez has admitted this season has been strange for him so far, having started the campaign and pre-season with Everton.
The Spanish striker made the move back to Spain this summer, joining Huesca on a free transfer after Everton elected to end his contract prematurely.
That brought about an end to a disappointing three-year spell with the Toffees, who he joined in a £5.4m deal from Malaga in 2017.
As has been the case for a while, he has yet to rediscover his form of seasons past, but things are looking a little more positive for him this time around with the striker managing two goals in six games so far.
Key to him getting his confidence back has been consistency, with him starting in four of Huesca’s six La Liga games since his arrival at the club.
That is something he himself admits he desperately needed, with rhythm having proven difficult to come by since he started the season at Goodison Park.
“(I’m) better, in the first games (I) was not quite right physically,” he told Heraldo.
“The pre-season has been strange, training separately with Everton.
“What a footballer needs to have is that rhythm, and to feel good is to have continuity, and I am having it.
“I try to help the team, and if it is with goals, much better. I work to keep having those opportunities and to achieve the victory.”
