Earlier this month, Brighton & Hove Albion agreed a deal with Lech Poznań for Jakub Moder and the midfielder signed a five-year deal with the Premier League side.

Graham Potter’s side allowed the 21-year-old to return to the Polish club on loan for the remainder of this campaign.

He played the full 90 minutes in Lech Poznan’s goalless draw against Cracovia on Sunday and after the match, the Seagulls owned player spoke to Canal+Sport program Liga +Extra, where he was asked about his decision to sign for the English club.

“I was determined from the first moment when the agents presented me with an offer,” Moder was quoted as saying by Sport.pl.

“The agreements have been designed so that everyone will benefit from it. I still wanted to stay at Lech to help him in the cups, that was the most important thing. And then just take the next step.”

“Brighton’s plan for me is clear, I like it. The decision was not difficult. I quickly took it.”

The Poland international has revealed Brighton have given instructions to the Poznań based club’s trainers to improve on certain aspects.

During a conversation with Brighton officials, Moder was informed to focus on improving his physique in order to meet the demands of the Premier League.

“I miss a bit in terms of motor skills and physical [aspects]. As far as I know, Brighton gave Lech’s physical training coaches what to do with me,” he added.

According to Sport.pl, Moder is one of Lech Poznań’s best players this season. He has made 13 appearances in all competitions and has managed three goals and three assists in the process.
