Besiktas website Orta Cizgi claim there have been conversations between Besiktas and Everton forward Cenk Tosun, but Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are leading the way to sign him.

The 28 year old is currently in talks with other clubs to leave Everton in this window, and Besiktas continue to be one of the interested parties.

However, Orta Cizgi say Tosun has told the Super Lig side he wants to stay in the Premier League and his former club will only be considered if that isn’t possible.

It’s claimed the Turkey international is also in talks with Crystal Palace and Aston Villa and it’s expected he will join either one of them.

In addition, Gunes’ Besiktas journalist Safak Malatya reports Tosun could already have agreed to sign for Crystal Palace after Roy Hodgson gave the nod.

However, Aston Villa will still be looking to get ahead of the Eagles after Wesley was ruled out for the season.

Following a frustrating season with Everton, Tosun is said to be keen on a move this month with Euro 2020 just around the corner.
