Gleison Bremer has been one of the Serie A players subject to endless transfer claims this summer, after a good season for Torino.

The Brazilian is now considered one of the best defenders in Italian football, and all the big clubs there have been linked. Inter Milan, who could be set to part ways with multiple defenders, have repeatedly been pushed out in front, but Bremer has also been linked with Premier League clubs.

Tottenham are thought to be keen, and Tuttosport, a Turin newspaper, report a meeting will be held this week with Spurs. Bremer is considered to be a ‘perfect player’ for Antonio Conte, given his attributes and attitude.

For Tottenham transfer guru Fabio Paratici, the player is a ‘strong goal’ this summer.

Tuttosport explain Torino director Davide Vagnati is set to fly to London, where he’ll have talks with Spurs over the deal. However, Conte and Paratici face a hurdle in their track, because it’s stated Bremer would prefer the move to Inter.

Torino just want to push the price higher, hence the Tottenham meeting, and it’s now down to the London club to agree a transfer fee and then convince the player.
