Pep Guardiola wants ‘all efforts’ at Manchester City on one signing this summer

They don’t celebrate April Fools’ Day at Don Balon, instead they claim ridiculous things every day of the year.

Isco to Manchester City is one they’ve been playing around with for a while. Not so long ago (we’re talking weeks here) the Spanish website claimed Pep Guardiola wasn’t interested in the Real Madrid player any longer and had other targets in La Liga.

That was soon turned on its head with claims the Manchester City boss will do anything to get Isco, including sending an Etihad star or two as part of the deal.

Now Don Balon say Guardiola wants his club to focus ‘all efforts’ on getting Isco. That means another swap deal idea for Don Balon, with Sergio Aguero and Bernardo Silva going the other way.

Isco is said to fancy the idea of being Manchester City’s star player, but there’s more reasons to doubt this than even other Don Balon stories.

The Spanish international is not equal to Aguero + Bernardo, at least on his performances this season.

Prior to the international break there had been increasing claims in Spain that Isco simply isn’t stepping up for Real Madrid when given the chance to do so.
