After a whole summer drama, Real Madrid midfielder Isco is finally finding form at the club, playing 90 minutes in the win against Alavés at the weekend.
His performances have been impressing a number of people, according to El Desmarque, and one of them would be Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola… it’s a story which will never die.
The website says Spain manager Luis Enrique called Isco to congratulate him for his form, telling him to keep up with the good work.
Pep Guardiola didn’t call him, but told Manchester City’s board to prepare an offer for the midfielder. It ‘could’ be €50m.
That would perhaps be enough for Florentino Perez, but not for Zinedine Zidane. The manager knows he may lose James Rodriguez in January, and considering that Isco is their most creative player, he wouldn’t like the idea of letting the Spaniard go as well.
That’s why El Desmarque says that Manchester City would have bigger chances if improving this offer, even though it hasn’t even been made yet.
