While Liverpool could need with some first-team reinforcements in January if they can, the Reds are also thinking about the future.
That’s what their recent pursuit of Kenan Yildiz seems to suggest, as the young Turkey international has often been linked with a move to Anfield.
Corriere dello Sport touch upon his situation on Tuesday, and mention Liverpool as one of the clubs circling around the 18-year-old.
Their stance is a bit different to some we have seen in the past, as a recent report suggested that despite his lack of game time, the player wanted to stay in Turin.
However, Corriere state Yildiz is currently ‘at the centre of the market’, and the young forward has ‘not digested the limited playing time’ handed to him by Max Allegri since the start of the campaign.
Whether this is a move Jürgen Klopp and Jörg Schmadtke have circled for January remains to be seen, but if Corriere are to be believed, Liverpool shouldn’t have too many problems convincing Yildiz down the line.
