It had been a while since Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was constantly mentioned in the rumour mill. Now with his recent good form for Lazio, the midfielder is once again linked to Premier League clubs.

Italian newspaper Il Messaggero brings a story about the Serie A side today, and claims that once again, the 24-year-old could be worth many millions to the club.

The outlet says there’s a derby between Milan and Inter Milan for the player, and recent claims also add Real Madrid to the race.  And it’s also claimed that ‘in the past few hours’, Manchester City are back on track.

Il Messaggero says Milinkovic had been ‘devalued’ in the past few months due to his poor form, but Lazio should now be back on believing that he’s worth €100m again.

Unlike Real Madrid and Manchester City, it doesn’t sound like Milan or Inter Milan could afford a €100m player, especially due to their problems with Financial Fair Play. So either Lazio are exaggerating on the price, or maybe this race is not as big as reported.
