Tottenham Hotspur are one of several English clubs credited with an interest in AS Roma’s Nicolò Zaniolo over the past few weeks.
Tiago Pinto, the Serie A side’s chief, has already stated there is no assurance the 22-year-old will still be at the club next season.
At the start of this month, Tuttosport’s director Xavier Jacobelli stated Spurs are among the ‘most attentive’ clubs keeping tabs on the winger.
Il Romanista now have a report focusing on those Roma players whose contract needs to be sorted out and this includes the Italy international.
Regarding Zaniolo, it’s stated he is no longer a non-transferable player for José Mourinho’s side and when discussing his suitors, the north London club get a mention.
The report explains there are several clubs, ‘in particular Tottenham and Juventus’, are ‘closely’ following the player. They further add the possibility of Roma receiving a ‘heavy offer’ from either of the two clubs in the ‘coming months’ is not ruled out.
Antonio Conte’s side are in picture to sign Zaniolo and if the Giallorossi were to receive said hefty bid for him, then Il Romanista state Roma have a decision to make, and that’s whether or not to give him up.
