Fiorentina duo Nikola Milenkovic and Dusan Vlahovic are good enough to play for Manchester United in future.
That’s the opinion of former Partizan Belgrade sporting director Ivica Iliev, who believes Milenkovic is actually ready to play for the biggest clubs in Europe now.
Milenkovic joined Fiorentina from Partizan in 2017, with Vlahovic making the same move a year later and joining his former teammate in Italy.
The pair have been a big hit with the Serie A side since, with the defender establishing himself as one of the hottest defensive prospects in Europe in the last three years.
His performances have not gone unnoticed in England, with several of the top six, including Manchester United, having been named as suitors.
Indeed, they appear keen as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hunts a new centre back partner for Harry Maguire and recent reports have stated they are leading the race for the 23-year-old.
Such a move would be a big one for the Serbian, but a man who knows him well believes he is more than ready for it.
“The two of them are big and will be bigger in the future,” Illiev told Labaro Viola.
“They have the ability to play in many top teams, even if Fiorentina are too.
“They could easily play in clubs like Manchester United, Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.
“I don’t know when the right time will be for them to leave. Vlahovic still needs some time, but Milenkovic is already ready for these teams.”
