The situation around Aaron Ramsey’s future is heating up, with more and more clubs being linked with the Welshman, including a number of ‘smaller’ Premier League clubs like West Ham (where Jack Wilshere ended up) and Everton being mentioned.
Prior to the news the Welshman would not be renewing his deal at the Emirates, there were a number of stories claiming interest in Italy, as they were keeping an eye on his contractual situation.
Ivan Gazidis swapping London for Milan led to inevitable rumours of him gifting Ramsey to his new side, while Juventus, the kings of the free transfer, were always mentioned as lurking.
Well, that has changed, as TuttoMercatoWeb point out, claiming that the Serie A champions have turned their attention to Adrien Rabiot, while Milan have recently sorted out a deal for Lucas Paqueta.
That leaves Inter, whom the website believe are ‘keeping an interest’ on the midfielder, and will be free of FFP issues by next summer (by their reckoning).
As for AS Roma and Lazio, the two other ‘powerhouses’ in Italy, the former ‘aren’t part of the party’, while Simon Inzaghi’s outfit could make a move, but it would be a ‘complicated one’.
As for the Toffees, it’s stated ‘Everton are ready to offer a great contract’, before TMW state Chelsea, Tottenham and Man City could even also consider a move.
