According to Fotomac, Besiktas are already looking to next season, and are planning for this summer’s transfer window
Their main objective is to find a replacement for 35-year old Atiba Hutchinson, and they’ve again been linked with a move to Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
The Turkish newspaper go with the headline ‘Operation started’ as they say Besiktas board member Safak Mahmutyazicioglu has already begun official talks with Fellaini’s agent Karim Meljati to discuss a possible move in the summer.
The 30 year old is seen as a good option for Besiktas manager Senol Gunes, and Fotomac report the Turkish side are ready to convince Fellaini over moving to Istanbul.
Last summer, we covered the reports from the Turkish press that Galatasaray were showing a strong interest in the Manchester United player, but the club opted to sign Badou Ndiaye instead.
Fellaini has played 15 games for Manchester United this season, scoring 3 goals.
