As Matteo Darmian continues having little playing time at Manchester United, the rumours linking him to a move back to Italy simply won’t stop showing up.
The fullback has basically been linked to almost every big Serie A club this season, and even though the transfer window closed a week ago, the summer stories are already on.
It’s Juventus who would be interested this time, according to website Il Bianconero. Board members Giuseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici would have Darmian as one of the first names in the list of possible signings.
Darmian is said to have ‘disappeared’ and Juventus have had the wheels in motion on a transfer for some time, with the player ‘one of the first names on the list’.
To bring the player back to Italy, Juventus would be trusting the player’s dissatisfaction with a lack of starts at Manchester United, with the website claiming he would be ready to leave the club at the end of the season.
Darmian only has 12 appareances this season, with 194 minutes played in the Premier League.
It’s been more than two months since he last featured in the league, so it’s becoming pretty clear Jose Mourinho doesn’t count on him.
