Fotomac report Galatasaray assistant manager Hasan Sas watched Norwich City forward Taemu Pukki at the weekend.
It’s been well documented in the Turkish media the Istanbul club are in the market for a forward in the new year and the Norwich City player looks to as emerged as an option.
Everton’s Oumar Niasse and Leicester City’s Shinji Okazaki have also been linked in recent weeks, but the difficulty in both deals could lead Gala to look elsewhere.
The Finnish striker scored two goals in Norwich City’s win against Millwall, and Fotomac say Hasan Sas was left impressed with Pukki’s performance.
Pukki has been in fine form for Daniel Falke’s side this season with Norwich currently sitting top of the Championship table. The 28 year old has played 16 games, scoring 10 goals.
With Bafétimbi Gomis leaving in the summer, Galatasaray have made it their priority to bring in a forward in January. Last month Everton’s Niasse was said to be the Turkish champions key target after trying to sign the attacker in the last window.
More recently Leicester City forward Okazaki was reported to be a possible option and now it looks like Pukki has been added to their list.
