According to Sporx, Galatasaray have made an offer to sign Everton attacker Henry Onyekuru., following his loan spell with the Istanbul club last season.
It’s reported the Turkish club’s manager Fatih Terim is keen to re-sign the player this summer after he impressed last season.
Terim has told the Galatasaray board signing Onyekuru must be a priority in this transfer window and Sporx claim the Turkish giants have offered €1.5m to Everton to loan Onyekuru for a season.
The Nigerian winger has also been linked with a move to Serie A side Napoli but according to reports in Turkey he is more than ready to return to Galatasaray and play in the Champions League next season.
Gala officials will look to convince Everton over allowing the youngster to play for them for one more season, based on the fact he’s progressing well in the Super Lig by playing regular football.
After Nigeria’s elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations it’s expected the 22 year old’s future will now be sorted, and at this stage it’s seems unlikely he will stay at Everton.
The €1.5m fee doesn’t look especially attractive, and it’s perhaps a surprise there’s been no indication of Everton trying an appeal for a work permit.
