We’re starting to wonder if Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Premier League promotion is the Championship campaign with the biggest press coverage ever.

We’ve been recently showing how the Portuguese and the Italian media have been highlighting the West Midlands side this week, and now, one of Spain’s biggest sports outlets has a story about the club as well.

Marca writes an article about the ‘Nunomania’ in England today, showing the affection that the Wolves manager has been getting from the club fans.

The story shows the scarves, t-shirts, and all the tributes the Portuguese boss has been getting in the city, including in restaurant signs.

The big reason why Marca are giving Nuno Espírito Santo so much attention is obviously the time he had in Spain. The manager was in charge of Valencia between 2014 and 2015, and couldn’t really impress with his La Liga campaigns.

Maybe that’s why one of the comments on the story is exactly from an angry Valencia fan, who claims: “It must be that they like to play nothing, either that or Nuno fooled all Spain in his time at Valencia.”
