Besiktas are expecting to sell defender Romain Saiss this summer, with Nottingham Forest among his suitors.

That’s according to Milliyet, who say Saiss ‘will most probably leave’ the Turkish side at the end of the season.

They explain that while continuing to fight for second place in the Super Lig this season, Besiktas are already planning ahead for the summer transfer window.

They’ll be reshaping their squad like most clubs and, at the moment, ‘will most probably part ways’ with Saiss and teammate Valentin Rosier.

They are currently out of the side but manager Şenol Güneş plans to give both players a chance from time to time so that their market value does not drop too much.

They are happy to sell both players in the summer but ‘for their real value’ and don’t want to offer discounts.

While there is French and Portuguese interest in Rosier, Saiss is wanted by Nottingham Forest, and the Turkish side intend to secure a ‘considerable fee’ for the Moroccan defender.

Their interest has been there since the player was a star for his country at the World Cup in Qatar, with it reported not long after that they had been in contact.

It was then reported after the January transfer window closed that they had seen a late bid rejected for him with it then later explained that he would be joining Nottingham Forest in the summer.

It seems that remains the case as far as they’re concerned in Turkey, although Besiktas don’t intend to sell him on the cheap.
