On Thursday, UOL stated Nottingham Forest want to sign Renan Lodi on a temporary deal and Atlético Madrid are asking for a €5m loan fee.
It was also explained a loan deal is the most viable way for the Tricky Trees since the La Liga side are demanding €40m to sell the left-back.

fee. Their idea is to take him on a loan deal with an option to buy, a formula that could be accepted by the La Liga side since he is not the first choice under the Argentine.
The fullback has so far not featured this campaign and is concerned about his playing time, which could impact his chances of going to the Qatar World Cup.
Therefore, Lodi held talks with the Atlético leaders and their message was clear. The South American is important for the club and he has also received ‘signs of encouragement’.
Atlético chiefs Miguel Ángel Gil Marín and Andrea Berta, along with Simeone, have all pointed out to Lodi that he will have an important role going forward this season and they have no intention of parting ways with him.
Mundo explain that Simeone’s side could accept Lodi joining Nottingham Forest on loan with an option to buy.
AS contradict this claim as they state Atlético have no plans to part ways with the player in the summer window and have informed him of that.
