Greek website Sport 24.gr claim Olympiacos are showing an interest in Nottingham Forest striker Apostolos Vellios.
The 26 year old first arrived in England when he signed for Everton, but after just a couple of games with the Merseyside club he joined Belgian side Lierse.
Vellios managed to turn his career around and earned a move to Nottingham Forest in 2016 for a fee in the region of €1m.
Sport24 said Olympiacos president Vangelis Marinakis (also the owner of Nottingham Forest) is looking to build a team with Greek players this summer following this season’s disappointments.
Vellios is presented as one of the Greek giants’ main targets this summer, and given his situation at Nottingham Forest a move seems likely.
The Greek target man is also said to be interested in playing for Olympiacos, so he’s likely to move if an offer comes in.
Vellios has only played 10 games for Nottingham Forest this season, scoring just one goal.
