Renan Lodi has made 20 league appearances for Nottingham Forest since he arrived at the City Ground on loan from Atlético Madrid towards the end of the last summer window.
The Tricky Trees retain an option to buy the left-back and it hasn’t stopped reports linking him to Juventus. Last week, Fichajes.net reported the Old Lady have set their sights on the 24-year-old.
This is now backed up by SerieBNews, who state the Nottingham Forest player’s name occupies a prominent place at the Turin club.
The Tricky Trees are currently 17th in the table, level on points with AFC Bournemouth, who are in the 18th spot.
Cooper’s side face risk of getting relegated from the Premier League and if that happens, they would not exercise the buying option for Lodi.
This could allow Juve to jump on the opportunity to sign the South American for €20m from Atlético in the summer.
For now, Juve can only hope Nottingham Forest don’t stay up and don’t end up buying Lodi.
