Last week, we covered a story from A Bola which claimed Tobias Figueiredo was very close to becoming a permanent signing for Nottingham Forest.
The newspaper claimed there is a clause in his loan contract which says he will definitely become a Nottingham Forest player if he reaches a certain number of games for the club.
Even though they didn’t know the exact figure, they claimed that it was close to happening.
Now newspaper Record comes up with a similar story this Wednesday, this time, with more accurate numbers about the situation.
They claim that there are four starting appearances left for him to become a permanent signing. He’s made seven starts so far, and the number set in his loan contract is eleven.
Once the clause is activated, Nottingham Forest will pay Sporting €2.3m for the transfer. Record treats the deal as ‘practically done’, especially because of the good impact Tobias had at the Championship side, who are still to lose a match with him on the pitch.
