The Portuguese press is already taking Tobias Figueiredo’s permanent transfer to Nottingham Forest as something certain.
As written by newspaper A Bola this Monday, the player’s loan from Sporting has a clause which makes the move permanent in case of a certain number of starts for the Championship side.
The outlet doesn’t know what the number is, but the fact that Figueiredo has already started six matches is enough for them to believe that it’s happening.
Their article is basically to show the numbers involved in the operation. Nottingham Forest had already paid €200k for the loan spell, and should now spend other €2.3m for the permanent signing.
Once the transfer is sealed, Sporting are expected to keep 20% of a future transfer, plus the right of a buy-back clause.
A Bola also takes praises made by fans and news outlets to show how appreciated Tobias Figueiredo has been in the Championship.
