Sofyan Amrabat’s name may be a hot topic in the European media today because of the heavy linked with Manchester United, but there seems to be another club trying to take him to the Premier League.

According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Nottingham Forest are now trying to sign the Morocco international.

On Twitter, the reporter claims that the Tricky Trees are now willing to go ‘as high as’ €20m plus bonuses for the transfer.

Pedulla doesn’t bring any information on Fiorentina’s stance to Nottingham Forest’s offer, although it sounds just short of their demands. It’s just said that there’s been a recent refusal to Galatasaray, who tried to sign Amrabat on aloan deal.

Now we should wait and see how La Viola will react to that, especially because reports have been saying for the whole summer that their demand would be of €30m.

Things seem to be changing now, though, as Fiorentina clearly didn’t receive all the offers they expected for the player, and a discount wouldn’t sound weird now.

It’s also been just reported by the Italian media that Manchester United made an attempt for a loan as well, and got blocked by Fiorentina. So perhaps Nottingham Forest have the best bid for now.
