With Gustavo Scarpa not having a great first season at Nottingham Forest, there have been some doubts about his stay at City Ground this year.

Reports from Brazil have already claimed that the Reds trust the midfielder, and will have him in their squad for the upcoming season.

Now it seems that Scarpa is fully on board with those plans, because according to outlet Premier League Brasil, the player is ruling out a move out of the club this summer.

Their report contacted the midfielder’s entourage and managed to confirm that Turkish side Besitas, as well as clubs from Italy, Germany, Greece and Brazil are interested in him.

Premier League Brasil writes that the talks did not advance because Scarpa ‘wants to stay’ at Nottingham Forest for another year.

Scarpa struggled in his first months in England, both because of personal problems as due to injuries which left him out of most games.

Now with a full season ahead of him, that should be a fresh chance for him do adapt to English football and try to succeed at Nottingham Forest.
