Nottingham Forest’s hopes of signing Djibril Sow from Eintracht Frankfurt have been handed a blow as it is ‘currently out of the question’ for the 26-year-old.
That’s according to BILD, who say while the Switzerland international can leave this summer, Nottingham Forest is unlikely to be his destination.
The newspaper explains that the midfielder is in talks with the German club about his future but if a ‘top offer’ arrives for him, he can leave.
This is something we already know, with a report in December making it clear that they had likely made contact about a possible move to the club.
However, it seems that might have been in vain as BILD explain today that a move to Nottingham Forest, who currently sit 19th in the Premier League ‘was out of question’ for the midfielder.
The implication is that he has no interest in moving to someone in the Premier League relegation zone and has set his sights slightly higher if he is to depart as expected.
