Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos are set to battle it out for Anderlecht’s Francis Amuzu, according to multiple claims from Belgium.
The Premier League side and the Greek club are both owned by Evangelos Marinakis, and the owner is clearly keen on the 24-year-old.
Le Soir state Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos have both ‘made an offer’ of €6m but those were rejected by the Belgian club, who have demanded more money for the winger.
Het Nieuwsblad also state the two clubs have ‘already made proposals’ to sign the player while the Jupiler Pro League side hope to collect €8-9m to sanction his sale.
The attacker’s deal lasts until 2025, with an option for another year, and the report states he is still hoping to leave the club this summer. Het Nieuwsblad add this case could ‘drag on until the last day’ of the window.
Operating on the left wing, Amazu scored three goals and registered 12 assists from 50 games last season.
Nottingham Forest have already bolstered their attack this summer by signing Anthony Elanga, who can operate on both wings.
