Nottingham Forest have made contact over signing Andrea Pinamonti from Inter Milan, reports Tuesday’s edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The 23-year-old signed for Inter in 2020 from Genoa and is yet to make a serious impact at the Serie A club. Last season he was loaned out to Empoli to get some game time, and managed to make 36 appearances in the league.
Scoring 13 goals and adding two assists appears to have brought transfer attention and there are multiple clubs interested in taking him away from Inter this summer.
Corriere dello Sport report Nottingham Forest are one of those, and it’s stated they’ve been in contact to ask for information about a transfer. That likely means they’ve been trying to find out what type of deal would be available, and the costs involved in the potential move.
Atalanta have been keen but they don’t want to go higher than €15m, with Inter said to be asking for €20m. Sassuolo are pushed forward as another interested party.
Corriere make it pretty clear that Nottingham Forest will have also been asked for €20m, and it’s now a case of waiting for a club to pay that or Inter Milan to drop their demands.
