According to claim in the Greek media, Nottingham Forest are showing an interest in Hull City forward Abel Hernandez.
Next month the Uruguay international will be become a free agent and Nottingham Forest, along with Olympiacos, are reported as possible destinations for the player say Sportdog.gr.
Aitor Karanka will be looking to bolster his Nottingham Forest squad in the summer, and with Apostolos Vellios likely to leave the club they may need to bring in a forward.
However, Nottingham Forest will face competition from other clubs, with Olympicaos, Sampdoria, Fiorentina and Celtic all reported to be interested in the South American.
With the possibility of landing a player like Hernandez on a free transfer it was always likely there would be plenty of interest in the forward, but a return to Italy could be his preferred option.
The 27 year old made his name at Palermo before he his signed for Hull City, and he’s been continually linked with a move back to Serie A.
