Signed by Nottingham Forest in January after being released by Dundee United’s U20s last July, Idris Kadded’s time at the City Ground has yet to produce an appearance.

Handed a contract until the end of the season, the 20-year-old’s career consists, so far, of a 30 minute appearance for his former Scottish side back in January 2018, and everything points towards him leaving the Midlands sooner rather than later.

According to Objectif Gard on Wednesday, the young forward is currently on trial with Nimes Olympique in Ligue 1, expected to remain there for the rest of the week and train with the first-team.

This suggests Nottingham Forest aren’t all that interested in keeping the Lyon born player around beyond the 2018-19 season, whose career consists of stints with Troyes, Nice, FC Vaulx en Velin and the aforementioned Dundee United.

Currently eighth in Ligue 1, Nimes are preparing their upcoming fixture against already relegated Guingamp away from home.
