Crystal Palace shareholder John Textor is now getting some negative reactions from Botafogo fans in Brazil.

As the Rio de Janeiro side played their first game of the season last night, their fans already made it sure to protest against their owner.

As reported by Lance, Botafogo fans took a banner to the Nilton Santos stadium making it clear they’re not happy with the treatment they’ve been getting from Textor.

“F*** your network of clubs. We’re Botafogo – We’re not satellites”, said the banner.

When speaking of Textor’s ‘network’, they’re talking about his business at Crystal Palace and Lyon, as if Botafogo had been just used to supply talents while the real investment is made by the two European clubs.

Textor started his job at the Brazilian club very well, but will be marked for the failure to win the league title last year, as they were 13 points clear on top of the table and finished 5th in the end.

While rumours say that the American businessman wants to quit his relationship with Crystal Palace, it seems he better focus on Botafogo before he gets kicked out of there as well.
