Norwich City have seen a €3m offer for Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne rejected, with the Turkish side holding out for €5m.
That’s according to FotoMaç, who Galatasaray are willing to sell if the Canaries match what they’re looking for.
Diagne is on the sell list at the club after spending the second half of last season on loan with West Bromwich Albion.
Since then, Diagne has returned to the club and been in fine form, with three goals and one assist in four games in all competitions so far.
That’s changed their transfer strategy with the player somewhat, with FotoMaç reporting they will hold out for more than expected.
The newspaper reports that they already received a €2m offer from Cagliari at the beginning of August, which was swiftly rejected, and they have now rejected a €3m offer from Norwich as well.
The Canaries sent an official offer in writing, but this was rejected, as the yellow-red’s management have made it clear they will only sell for €5m.
Whether Norwich will go that high isn’t mentioned, but that’s the price they’ll have to match, or at least get close to, if they want to bring Diagne to Carrow Road.
