On Monday, a report in Italy claimed that Hella Verona, having just sold Milan Djuric to Monza, were interested in Adam Idah, contracted to Norwich City.
The 22-year-old has been a regular in the plans of David Wagner this season, but a lot of his appearances have come from the bench of late, which is why he is seen as an attainable target by the Serie A side.
Gazzetta dello Sport provide an update on the situation on Tuesday, claiming the Norwich striker seems to be Verona’s ‘first target’.
Idah ‘stands out for his physicality’, seeing as he is 1.9m tall, and it’s said the parties are ‘discussing the formula’ to try and get a deal done.
Verona, seemingly a bit short on cash, ‘would like a loan’, although we’ll have to wait and see whether this is something Norwich are interested in at this moment in time.
The interest in Idah is also brought forward by Corriere di Verona, who explain the Serie A side are looking at two strikers, one being the Norwich man, and the other Jessic Ngankam, 23 years of age but playing at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga
The local newspaper seem impressed with the Canaries player, describing him as a forward with ‘structure and educated feet’, also pointing out his regular appearances for his country.
