West Ham are in the transfer market for a striker, but have failed to sign anyone so far.
The Hammers have placed a €30m/£25m bid for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca, but the Colombian international is keen on signing for a Champions League side.
A couple of days ago, Calciomercato reported ‘Bacca has been reconsidering his decision in the last few hours, and that the ‘white smoke for a transfer to West Ham’ is no longer so far away’.
However, there seems to be another twist in the story, and it seems Bacca is not really close to signing for the London side.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport on Sunday, Bacca continues to refuse to sign for West Ham.
Gazzetta say West Ham have offered €30m/£25m for Bacca which they intend to pay in installments in the next three years.
AC Milan are reportedly desperate to offload Bacca as they’re dependent on his sale to generate funds for signing players.
